The Conduit Service Preventing Mental Health Decline
by improving access and pathways to healthcare and wellbeing services no matter who you are

Self Care can be daunting
We get it! It's really easy to put everyone else first or feel overwhelmed when asking for help or engaging in traditional therapies such as counselling
This is why we have developed an approach that supports small scale steps towards the bigger picture,
a healthier, more empowered you!
How our service empowers you to engage in your own healing journey through simple but powerful interactions

As simple as a cup of coffee
When local customers or tourists passing by come in for a cup of coffee or to enjoy some brunch with friends they begin to feel comfortable with the space. They hang out with the animals, relax in our cosy cafe spaces, discover what we do, feel the great vibes, take a moment to breathe and enjoy their self care experience.
With so many happy customers enjoying what we have to offer every day, not only has our hub become a local daily hang out but also a must see tourist destination with customers traveling from all around SA just to experience the unique essense that is Here's to Strength!

Shopping with a difference
Sometimes a bit of retail therapy is all someone needs to add a bit of pep in their step, especially when the product they are buying motivates, inspires or validates them.
That's why our self care retail store is a great easy way to bring the fun back into wellness not to mention supporting local makers and designers from our region.

With proceeds directly invested back into our community wellness vision, its shopping that feels good but also helps create the epic vibe that you know and love.

Crisis Support
After building trust with our hub, many individuals feel safe enough to let their guard down, be vulnerable and actually come in and say when they aren't feeling okay.
Our staff are trained to identify individuals who may be struggling, offer them a moment of support and connect them to external services that may help if they wish.

Emotional Regulation
If you are feeling overwhelmed, our therapy animals (ducks and bunnies) are there for you in a way that is as simple as nature.

Whether you have had a bad day and just need to cry it out or are feeling overstimulated and need to ground yourself. Our therapy animals are some of the best acute therapies available.

They can keep your secrets, cuddle you close and share a special moment all without the pressure of human interaction.

Accessing Basic Needs
With the cost of living rising, so many people are struggling financially and cannot afford to go out to eat, that's why our free initiatives provide everyone who is struggling financially the opportunity to still feel the great vibes at Here's to Strength.
Sometimes a person's first interaction with the hub is collecting some of their basic needs such as donated pantry food, bread, toothpaste, milk, meat or hygeine items from our Community Pantry. Our pay it forward wall and concession discounts in our cafe also provides the opportunity for those less fortunate to enjoy a cup of coffee totally free/discounted thanks to the generosity of others.

Connection with Others
Once someone feels comfortable enough with our space, maybe they have had a few coffees, enjoyed some shopping or received support from the community pantry, they may feel ready enough to engage in the various community support events we offer.

Our monthly Mens Gathering is a great example of this as its a super casual, friendly, no pressure monthly bbq where Men can get to know one another, enjoy a feed, check in with each other and offer a shoulder to lean on where needed.

Relatability
Many people struggle to seek support because they don't feel that their story will be seen, heard or acknowledged. When you suffer an invisible battle, it can be very difficult to find people who can support your needs because its exactly that, invisible.

Our team understand this, with out own lived experiences surviving invisible battles and our founder's story inspiring those who feel unseen to never give up. When someone can relate, true connection can be established.

Professional Support
One of the biggest barriers when it comes to seeking professional help is where do I go and am I really ready to receive support?

Taking the leap of faith in seeing a professional can be very scary for alot of people in our community. By creating the ultimate community safe space with so many dynamics of self care in one place, that process becomes a little less overwhelming and accessing the services onsite is just that little bit easier.
