Our Mission

Here's to Strength Community Wellness Collaborative Ltd is a global first, one stop self care experience bridging the gap of access to vital medical, wellness and welfare services through our community wellness initiatives.

Our vision simplifies self care, preventing mental health and wellbeing decline, removing barriers and ending stigmas around mental health, invisible illness, positive body advocacy and suicide prevention.

“I travelled an hour to Aldinga just to experience the Here's to Strength Community Wellness Hub after reading up on the mission and facilities online.

It's a beautiful community space with all the self care items you could need. Friendly approachable staff and I had a deliciously decadent hot choccy to nourish the soul.

I only wish there was a closer hub to where I reside to make the workshops more accessible for my area”

Why our values are so important when running
a heart centered mission

Driven by lived experience, community values and compassion, we are inspired to improve access to self care to every human being no matter their circumstance. Empathy, honesty, respect, safety, collaboration and community are just some of our core beliefs.

Here's to Strength Community Wellness Collaborative Ltd is an organisation based on values that advocate ending the stigma around invisible struggles within our community. The use of unsustainable, discriminate and inaccessible practices means our society is struggling to find the support.

As a disabled, low income, plus size person our founder Elise Riannen knew how disheartening accessing self care could be. Self care items, activities and support systems were either too expensive, not available, too far away or non existent. She felt defeated in the simple process of taking care of herself.

"I know from my own lived experiences just how hard it can be to take care of yourself. For so many people, self care feels impossible and that is why our model of care simplifies wellness and puts everything you need in one place" - Elise

This is where we are promising to change the script. We will create the solutions and collaborate with others to build the ultimate conduit between where you are and what you need, advocating for our people, advocating for our rights, and advocating for unity within community.

We do this by

working mindfully to support our community from the grass roots, considering all walks of life by ensuring our service holistically supports every person and every circumstance.

We base all of our decisions from an empathic view, to be inclusive to all, delivering self care solutions for every age, gender, culture, financial ability.

We consider our impact within our community by encouraging our communities voice to be the leading drive for change throughout our mission.

As a public benevolent registered charity, we work towards the following charitable purposes at all times:

- relieve suffering within our community
- advance health of our community
- advance social and public welfare of those within our community

Our Blueprint Vision

We achieve this through various collaborative initiatives including our community wellness hubs, community pantries, community support fund and various other projects including our support groups, gatherings and community engagement events .

Everything we are building as a blueprint of our community wellness vision has been done with a plan on how it can be duplicated, scaled and privately sustained expanding nationally across Australia and globally thereafter.

We are currently finalising the founding blueprint and are working everyday towards the next steps of national growth and expansion with a solid community plan to open more locally run community wellness hubs in every region of Australia.

We also have a blueprint for a Community Wellness Village and are actively seeking opportunities to commence this project.
